(~_~;)\n\nas a somewhat heavy-handed solution we are now running anubis in front of atchan, validating requests and serving challenges for likely bots (https://anubis.techaro.lol/). this breaks some things, like no javascript mode, link previews and genuine search engine crawlers. i'm looking into a solution for this.\n\ni will continue to monitor and tweak anubis in the next few days to see if its making a difference in speed and reliability.\n\nsigned admin-sama",
