work.nectvia.social.companyfollow

nectvia.work

Documentation

A declaration by the repo owner that they follow an employer. Keyed on the employer's web domain, because almost no company has an AT Protocol identity and app.bsky.graph.follow requires a subject DID. This matches how work.nectvia.career.position already names an employer (companyName plus an optional companyDomain).

Properties

companyDomain string Required

Web domain of the employer, e.g. acme.com. REQUIRED: a follow with no domain identifies nothing a reader could resolve, so it is not published at all rather than published ambiguously.

maxLength: 500 bytes
companyName string Required

Name of the employer as it was known when the follow was made. Recorded alongside the domain so the record stays readable if the domain later changes hands.

maxLength: 500 bytes
createdAt string datetime Required

Client-declared timestamp when this record was created. A reader comparing this against a domain's ownership history can tell whether the follow predates a change of hands.
