"body": "Ecosystem-based organizational design treats organizations, communities, and professional networks as living systems rather than centralized hierarchies. It enables resilient, regenerative collaboration through shared purpose, trust, institutional memory, distributed responsibility, shared knowledge, transparent governance, coordinated autonomy, and member-owned or open infrastructure. This model is especially suited to sustaining intellectual communities after formal institutions lose funding, staff, or physical infrastructure: federated networks can preserve identity, provenance, historical lineage, legitimacy, and visible community use without depending on a single administrative center. Development is organic and iterative, with participants validating commitment, building relationships and capabilities, removing organizational blockages, and progressively enabling self-governance rather than following a fixed blueprint. Durable ecosystems may combine broad communities, project-based collectives, and ownership-oriented cores, supported by shared substrates and partner networks. Their strength depends on adoption and active use across multiple communities, not merely on a single institutional partnership. Clear stewardship arrangements—including separation of intellectual property and other core assets from commercial delivery where appropriate, defined trademark and copyright rights, dispute resolution, and board independence—can further support continuity, legitimacy, and institutional resilience.",
